few beaches adequate for your Maui wedding. Most of the beach area in the Lahaina proper area are narrow and congested. One exception is a beach just north of Lahaina Towne. Kahekili Beach (aka "Airport" beach) is about five minutes north of Lahaina. In addition to a large county park, this beach is wide and stretches north and south for some distance.
Plenty of parking make it a good choice for larger wedding parties and, if you like, an informal wedding reception on the grounds of the adjacent park. Weekends will find lots of locals enjoying the sun and sand but, as in all beach locations, they are respectful of weddings and give the wedding or vow renewal party space.
Just past the Kaanapli area, actually, just north of the famous Black Rock part of Kaanapli Beach, you turn off Highway 30 onto Kai Ala Drive and follow the road to the parking area.
