Maui wedding photography necessitates a blend of the best equipment and experience.
Anybody can pick up a camera and push a button. Good photography, however, requires a combination of equipment, training, experience, and personality.
- Professional lenses, camera bodies and post-production methods contribute to razor- sharp focus, natural colors, and elegant black & whites or sepias.
- Experience results in capturing the wonder and beauty of Maui without overwhelming the subjects of the event; the bride, groom and guests.
- Personality is critical. True professionals put their clients at ease: they know how to shoot the moment. To capture fleeting emotion often missed in strictly formal photography involves the personality of your shootist as much as his/her experience.
DIGITAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY has become the standard. A few years ago, we did not recommend digital. But with major advances professional, digital cameras and the ability to use SLR (single lens reflex) lenses along with dramatic strides in printing, we are completely confident in this transition from film to digital.
The flexibility is awesome, allowing the client to choose black and white conversion for selected photos without discernible loss of highlight or shadow detail. Other special effects, normally costing hundreds of dollars per effect, can be acheived at a fraction of traditional, film based photography costs.
